Shruti Haasan is a south Indian film actress who works in Tamil & Telugu language films. She was born on 28 January 1986 in the Hassan family. Her father is actor Kamal Haasan and mother Sarika Thakur. She won several awards like film fare awards and made herself as one of the leading actresses of south Indian cinema.
Apart from acting, Shruti Haasan is also a good playback singer. She has received a nomination for the film fare award for best female playback singer in Tamil and Telugu. Shruti Haasan started her career as a music director in 2009 from her father’s production film Unnipol Oruvan. She has formed her music band.
